Forum for Peace and Human Rights (FPHR) is a politically and religiously independent, non-profit, and non-governmental human rights organization based in Nepal. It was started as a loose organization in 2022 and officially registered in 2023. It was founded by a group of young professionals and human rights professionals who aspired to prevent, manage, and resolve conflict, violation of human rights, and abuse against human rights defenders through alternative and creative means. It works for the protection and promotion of democracy, civic space, and human rights largely in Nepal. One of its major focuses is promoting open civic space, creating safe spaces, and protecting human rights defenders through holistic security support (physical, digital, and psycho-social). Its secretariat is based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Mission: Promoting human rights, strengthening civic space, and empowering human rights defenders locally and globally through advocacy, education, and protection to create a society where justice and human rights are upheld for all.

Vision: A world where every individual's inherent dignity is respected, and human rights defenders thrive in safeguarding fundamental freedoms.
